Get Your Data — BW GasAlert Detectors and Fleet Manager II Software

BW Fleet Manager PC software can be used to pull data from devices connected via IR (GasAlert MicroClip, MicroClip XT, GasAlert Max XT, and GasAlert Quattro) or from an SD card reader (GasAlert Micro5, Micro5-PID, or Micro5-IR series).

Importing from devices with SD cards

Before you import, decide whether you want to see all records from the instrument — including all zero readings. If so, select [Options], choose "Do not filter out zero records." Click [OK]. Otherwise, your data will be filtered.

Five Easy Steps

  1. Finding the SD card in a GasAlert Micro5Connect the SD card reader to your PC via USB. (The card reader is included in each rental.)
  2. Pull the SD memory card out of your meter, using a finger to carefully slide the card out from under the retaining bar. Insert the card into the SD card reader.
  3. In your FleetManager software, click on the [Import] button at the left, and then choose the [Directly From a File] tab in the main screen.

  4. Now, click the blue [Choose File] button. Browse to the SD card, pick the file LOGFILE0.CSV, and click the blue [Open] button in the lower right corner.

  5. Once your data has been imported click on the [Logs/Results] button on the left to see all the results as shown below.

    This particular instrument does not have the PID sensor, so we do not see any readings in the Toxic1 column. If this was a Micro5-PID, the reading would be based on the listed correction factor. e.g., Isobutylene’s correction factor is 1:1.

IR Connected Devices

Three Easy Steps

  1. Connect your instrument to your PC using the IR adapter included with your rental. The detector must be powered ON to transfer data.
  2. In your FleetManager software, click on the [Import] button at the left, choose [From the Connected Device] tab in the main screen, click the radial button to select your device model, and select whether you want events or datalogs.

  3. Once your data has been imported click on the [Logs/Results] button on the left to see your results.
