VIDEO: TSI PortaCount Pro respirator fit testers: Quick-start tutorial videos

Respirator fit testing is required annually by federal law for employees who wear full- and half-face SCBA masks. So, it's no surprise that the TSI PortaCount Pro quantitative respirator fit test systems are so popular with our rental customers. To help you get up and running quickly, our team has compiled a pair of basic training videos.  The first will help you with out-of-the-box setup and running a daily test. The second covers using FitPro PC software for test database management.

Video 1: I'll walk you through connecting power, tubing, and the alcohol cartridge, checking and replacing the optic filter and alcohol wick, preparing an N-95 disposable mask for testing, loading a test database, and running the mandatory daily check.

Video 2: My associate, John Greivell, RAECO's vice president, takes it a step further, as he guides you through reparing a test database on FitPro PC software, loading it from your PC onto the PortaCount unit, running a fit test, and transferring the data back to your computer.
