Heron Instruments H.OIL Intrinsically Safe Oil/Water Interface Level Meter

Heron Instrument's H.OIL interface meter is used to measure the thickness of floating or sinking hydrocarbon products in groundwater accurately, reliably, safely and economically. It is used to measure both light (LNAPL) and dense (DNAPL) non-aqueous phase liquid groundwater contaminants. The fully pressure-proof probe is ideal for use in wells, piezometers, and direct push equipment. The high-tensile steel, easy-read yellow tape is Kynar jacketed to withstand attack from hydrocarbons, solvents, or other harsh contaminants. It shows 1/100 foot graduations printed beneath the jacketing so the print never wears off. With a flexible link between the tape and probe, if the probe gets caught or hung up in the well, the link breaks, saving the costly tape by sacrificing the replaceable probe.
