About the speaker: Ramon Lopez PhD is an assistant research professor at Indiana University's Fairbanks School of Public Health, where he teaches courses in environmental health and environmental calculations. From 2009 to 2014, he worked on a U.S. Air Force-funded project testing non-ionizing radiation technologies for performance and safety.

Dr. Lopez is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, and serves as vice-chair of the AIHA Non-Ionizing Radiation committee volunteer group. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Masters of Science in Hazardous Substances Academic Training and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Illinois Chicago, where he also completed is PhD in Occupational Safety.
