TSI SidePak AM520 Datalogging Real-Time Personal Aerosol Monitor
TSI's SidePak™ AM520 personal aerosol monitor is a light-scattering laser photometer that provides real-time aerosol mass concentration readings of dusts, fumes, mists, smoke and fog within a worker's breathing zone. This new version of the SidePak includes an increased mass concentration capability and provides size fraction cut points for PM10, PM5, PM4, PM2.5, PM1 and 0.8 micron diesel particulate matter (DPM), so it's flexible enough for use in general industry, construction, foundry, chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, power and utility plants, transportation, confined space, mining, and more.
The small light-weight, battery-operated unit can run more than 20 hours continuously, and logs up to 55 days' worth of data (logging once per minute). It has a 95dB audible alarm, a bright red LED alarm, and the OLED display flashes red when the wearer has exceeded general and STEL alarm conditions.
TSI's SidePak AM520 personal aerosol monitor is a suitable replacement for Thermo (MIE) Personal DataRAM pDR-1000AN aerosol monitor for passive air particulate sampling.
