This kit includes 3 different probes for extreme versatility. The Wavecontrol SMP2 electromagnetic field meter offers broadband electromagnetic field metering plus industrial frequency spectrum analysis in a single portable unit. It uses Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Weighted Peak Method (WPM) for low frequency spectrum analysis. The SMP2's broadband field probes are interchangeable, and automatically recognized by the base unit for flexibility in measuring ranges and use across a broad range of EMF assessment and validation applications.

Kit Includes: Meter with WP400 (1Hz to 400kHz) WPF18 (300kHz to 18GHz) and WPH-DC (0 - 40 kHz) probes, PC software for control and reporting, PDF user manual, charging cord, calibration certificates, and a rugged carrying case.

The Wavecontrol SMP2 configured with the WP400, WPH-DC, and WPF18 field probes delivers complete electric and magnetic field measurement coverage across the full EMF spectrum. This versatile setup enables static magnetic field analysis with the WPH-DC probe (DC–40 kHz), low-frequency electric and magnetic field measurements with the WP400 probe (1 Hz–400 kHz), and high-frequency electric field detection using the WPF18 probe (300 kHz–18 GHz).

The SMP2 displays real-time field strength values across the X, Y, Z axes and total field including RMS, Peak, Max, Min, and Avg, using units such as V/m, A/m, µT, mT, W/m², and %. It supports broadband and frequency-selective modes, FFT-based spectrum analysis (1 Hz–400 kHz), and real-time Weighted Peak Method (WPM) comparisons against ICNIRP, EU Directive, FCC, and other global safety standards.
