VIDEO: How to Set Up and Run the GE TransPort PT878 Flowmeter

Because some of our customers are new to using a GE TransPort PT878 clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter, we’ve created a video to show how easy it is to use.

In this video, Matt takes you step by step through the process. He shows you the different screens on the portable flowmeter and teaches you how to calibrate it. Then, he demonstrates how to measure the thickness of a pipe using the GE thickness gauge. To wrap it up, he’ll show you how to mount the clamp-on ultrasonic transducers to your pipe, so you can start taking readings.
