The Extech LT300 Digital Light Meter is designed for measuring light levels in workplaces, offices, labs, and industrial environments to ensure compliance with OSHA lighting requirements and to support health and safety programs. With a measurement range up to 200,000 Lux (20,000 Fc), the LT300 utilizes a remote light sensor connected via 12 in. coiled cable (expandable to 24 in.). It is ideal for monitoring illumination in factories, hospitals, schools, cleanrooms, and public spaces. The meter features a large backlit LCD with bargraph display, and built-in functions including Max/Min recording, Peak Hold for capturing fast light pulses down to 10 µs, Data Hold, and Relative mode for comparing changes in light levels. Its detachable, domed photo sensor provides accurate readings with CIE photopic response, making it a reliable choice for lighting audits, inspections, and energy efficiency studies
